Listened to the black rifle coffee company pod cast a while back and one of the guys laughed about Trump tweeting that he won the election. Most of these people are oblivious to what is going on and I doubt we would be able to rely on most of them if it came down to it. War today is not like way in the past and it does not forge the same kind of soldier as we used to have.

Also, a large chunk of people in the military are not there to serve their country, but to get free college and no down payment on their home loan. I remember when the Iraq stuff started there were military people complaining that they didn't think they would actually have to fight anyone. I have a relative that was in the military and she is the biggest neverTrumper I know.
