I went to a kids class at a nature conservation center today with my two kids. I wore a bandanna for a mask as an adult but didn’t mask my kids. They asked my oldest to wear one because she was participating in the activities. She agreed and put on a bandanna I had extra. They turned to my youngest not participating who is (4) and I said firmly no. Then they said they would have to go ask the supervisor if that’s ok, I said fine do that. She came back and said ok if we move your chairs further back she won’t have to wear one. I said ok. Ten minutes into the class and my oldest has the mask under her chin and is enthusiastically learning and asking questions the other family there also no has their masks on their chins as well. The teacher said nothing because she knew it was a losing battle.
