I've seen a lot of damage and sabotage done to Christianity by people interpreting things in the most extreme way.

It's not really required either. This is in stark contrast with for example the Koran which sets out to be an instruction manual. It's required to lie about what the Koran says or doesn't say if you want to be a reasonable Muslim.

Most of the time someone tells me the Bible says something that doesn't seem entirely right and I check it out and it's not exactly what the Bible says which tends to act more as a story book to help share wisdom and give moral guidance but is not as absolute as some readers are.

There's this assumption that all knowledge can be derived from it but I believe that is a mistake. The intention is to pass on enough knowledge for normal common circumstances.

You might say it's a fail if it doesn't always tell you exactly what to do in that situation then except it does. Don't get yourself in that situation in the first place.

I don't think people quite understand what pro-choice stands for. The idea that so long as the baby is dependent on the mother's womb she can slaughter it at will.

Around 99% to 99.9% of the time a woman has an abortion there's no obvious excuse for getting to that point other than bad choices already as to what to do with their body. Pro-choice also stands for encouraging this degree of recklessness and shunning any responsibility for the consequences.

That's just basic reasoning.

You might say it's a false if it doesn't always tell you exactly what to do in that situation then except it does. Don't get yourself in that situation in the first place.
