Because Vatican City IS a government entity unto itself. Vatican City is recognized globally as a city-state, with its own sovereignty, currency, borders, government, and militia. Importantly, besides from being the ONLY entity of our times to meet this criteria, it is described as a city which reigns over kings. Kings reign over cities, not the other way around; a kingdom is a realm in which a king has dominion (absolute authority and control).
But Vatican City is not ruled by a king, it is ruled by an apostate and imposture "high priest"---the pontiff, and many global RULERS (for they have assumed powers not granted to them by just laws, and are thus neither leaders, nor public servants, nor governors, all of whom are limited in their abilities to abuse others) are Roman Catholic, and owe allegiance to the papacy. Vatican City is the ONLY city in human history which reigns over kings (rulers) of the world, therefore the end time global religious system of the Antichrist ONLY can be Roman Catholicism.
That is a sobering truth, but one to be acknowledged for the purposes of salvation. It is difficult for Roman Catholics to accept, as well as for those of us whom love them. I am from Chicago; almost every one I have ever known and loved is Roman Catholic, including my beloved father (God rest his soul). I pray for them to come to know the truth of Scripture, which they are forbidden to study it for themselves, as the official position of the papacy, TO THIS DAY, is to only permit their priests to explain it to them...and there is much which that religion does which is EXACTLY the opposite of what Scripture dictates, although not having access to study keeps practitioners ignorant of such offenses. This is why the end time famine will be one of hearing the true WORD of God, which the RCC has replaced with the traditions of men, for Scripture declares that God's people are destroyed for lack of knowledge, but the righteous shall live by faith.
Of course, the UN is working in collusion with radical depopulationists to starve you to death via material famine, too, and then control you through access to food.
