I agree with you 1000% brother. i recently read James Buchanan's The Limits of Liberty: Between Leviathan and Anarchy, and dude is spot-on on these issues. He's really one of the first consequential thinkers post-Madison to show 'tyranny of the majority' at its logical extremes (property-negating LCD collectivism that inhibits economic growth and technological development) and update it for modern scenarios. Also one of the founders of the Mont Pelerin Society, a free-market econ consortium that brought us Mises/Cato, Friedman, Rothbard, the end of the draft and right-to-work laws.
