WTF?

I was hired as a Voter Roll Clean up Contractor +10 years ago. I couldn't start right away because our local rules stated NO CHANGES to voter rolls until the +12 month post-election waiting period had passed.

This waiting period varies by location/election type and is also paused by any legal proceedings stemming from an election). It is PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE the rules have been LEGALLY changed from +12 months to 3 months or less because there are steps to follow (like notifying a voter and waiting a set time for any response).

To get to the 'Reporting the Changes' phase used to require...

checking in with voters/other methods to check/change/void their status on the list,

submitting the changes (and reasons codes) to an election official,

having the notice-of-change in status sent out to the voter,

having any changes/complaints adjudicated

and ONLY then the changes are made permanent in the logs.

There is NO WAY the rules have been LEGALLY changed from 12 months to 3 months.
