It's like any other traditions or values who are part of the American culture. If we let them destroy our language, that's the last think we will have. I'm an immigrant from Argentina, a Spanish speaking country but I'm against using any other language than American English in public places or in places or situations when Americans are present. For example, my wife and me are native Spanish speakers, but we only speak Spanish inside our house, we don't like to speak Spanish outside, even if we meet another Spanish speakers, we consider that offensive for the citizens of the country who adopted you. It's just a matter of respect the people who build the country and use a common language. Also, the leftists are trying to modify the language, they want to eliminate several words associated with the "patriarchal system" (I.E: Mother, Father, etc.) and they want to use inclusive words like "Latinxs". If we continue this leftist way of putting the English language as any other in America, it won't be to far in time to see street names with Hispanic, Chinese, Hindu, African, etc. names on their signs. **Please keep our American English in the right way. ** PS: Please correct me if I made any mistake here, I'm still learning.
