Not controversial to me at all. The answer is "no." If simple voters like me can learn after two decades in Afghanistan and Iraq that foreign intervention is a bad thing, why can't the politicians?
Side note: I'm always sorry to see anyone sign up for our military now. I wish that nobody would enlist anymore, stop giving your life to the dimwits in DC to use as a plaything.
