Appeals on Twitter are a joke. You’d think they’d be a “quick” way to resolve unfair takedowns, but nope. Usually what happens is you get suspended for 7 days, but you can appeal if you believe it’s unfair. But if you appeal, you still can’t access your account until the appeal is resolved.

I tested it once, and it took 21 days for my appeal to be denied. So I was suspended two weeks longer and still had to delete my “hateful” tweet before I could post again. Even though there was NOTHING even remotely hateful in it.

Twitter’s “hateful conduct” is a catch-all for when they just want to ban you for something, but you didn’t actually break any rules.
