A Constitutional Convention at this moment in history would probably be the worst possible thing to happen to us.
Generally speaking, we like the Constitution well enough that if it were actually followed as written, we'd be in a much better place. Meanwhile, our enemies want to utterly destroy its memory. Who then stands more to gain from altering its language? You might say we have little to lose in the practical sense, because we lost the ability to enforce the Constitution long ago. That may be true, but it is still legally the Supreme Law of the Land, which supports the truth that we the remnant have a moral claim over this country. Even from a cynical worldview, that is perhaps the most powerful form of propaganda we have left. Nothing good comes from letting our enemy tamper with the Constitution.
Worse, the electoral map shows that the states are split roughly 50/50, except there's a problem: The blue states are largely one-party Democratic states, and the red states have been deeply subverted by both Democrats and cocktail Republicans. We do not have the political representation to get what we want passed with 3/4 of states...but they might. If we had a runaway convention that created a new document with its own ratification criteria -- just like the Constitution last time -- they might not even need 3/4, just 51%.
