Well the SCOTUS has been bending the Constitution without amendments through bogus rulings for a while now. I mean, all gun control laws are illegal.

Even so I'd still avoid "the Constitution is over" rhetoric. I'd say it's under serious threat and in need of heavy defense but it's not exactly irrelevant either (yet).
