In Australia we have heavy gun restrictions. You can still get lots of guns just not semi auto rifles and can't have larger than a 10 round mag (unless your a competitive shooter and need a larger magazine)

Any idiot can go any buy a 9 inch grinder and operate it without training or safety equipment, a 9 inch grinder is objectively the most dangerous power tool in the world today. A gun is arguably less dangerous than a nine inch grinder.
