I think you are discounting way too much how religion is always the glue that keeps everything together even if it is not overt. It implies to me that you don't quite understand the purpose and the impact that religion has on any given group of humans. It's quite literally inextricable from humanity. The only ones who do not have and are driven by religion, are animals, and even there, there are indications of a kind of proto-religious behaviors.

I think you are also totally overlooking that we not only have very little nationalism, let alone real nationalism left all across the western/European world and that it is being actively eroded even further and faster with every passing day, of course only in the west (which should really indicate something to people). We could and will have to not only redefine and recalibrate what European nationalism (I actually believe that we were intentionally relabeled as whites in order to dissociate us from all the other europeans around the world. Why else are all others "Asian-American" and Afrian-American" … and not Yellows or Blacks in statist parlance?). It is actually the reason for my user name. We need to look and organize globally and have common long term and unified strategy that adapts to local and changing circumstances.
