They do have a plan, to pull it backwards and then twist. The strain on the ship is immense, it could break.
I would say nothing about this is as easy as not bringing a ship that's 100' too long per canal regulations into the canal in the first place.. Prez of Egypt just issued orders to unload it if the refloating effort fails. High tides are at peak thru Thursday. After that their max gets progressively lower.
