Same here. I will even risk wrath around here to say that failure to help push through bipartisan legislation to officially end the war on pot -- may be Trump's ONLY 'real fuckup' in a long series of positive achievements and policy wins.

Specifically -- to the Reganite boomers and those who came after who frequent this board and cannot perceive the difference between weed and crack -- I say, a sincere fuck you. To those who were hippies in the 60s and 70s and considered it their sacrament until they grew into political Karens... , a double-plus fuck you.

In the Clinton years when Biden was going after Afamericans, weed was the main trafficked substance that fueled the cartels. Decriminalized weed produced and consumed domestically would have been a 'gateway drug' AWAY from serious drug use, to a more comfortable norm.

Zero-tolerance people suck.

What we got instead was a twisted regime where pot remained illegal, yet devastating stimulants and endless pharmaceutical prescription abuse is rampant. Marijuana/hemp prohibition was begun in bigotry and real racism, to target itinerant Mexicans and 'negroes' for easier harassment and roundup.
