When I was growing up, in the middle of lilly white suburbia, I never would have questioned my certainty that if I approached a cop in an aggressive manner I would be shot. During my (very mild) delinquent days, I had a few encounters with the police. They had guns drawn and would have shot our asses if we’d even stepped towards them. Not pleasant but I never questioned the logic behind it and still don’t. Don’t try to fight cops. Just don’t do it. If you do, no complaining. Sorry.
