I agree. This is ultimately a way to trap arguments into agreeing with ID or against mail-in voting. People who agree with mail-in can't say no to it.
More health conscience, can be more protected (does not store data and only counts the vote to the canadate), requires valid ID, and is more eco friendly.
What can they argue? It racist to require ID? I think its racist to believe any specific race isn't smart enough to know where the DMV is.
