I should add that the Ford brothers are drug dealers from way back. They've probably worked with every foreign gang to import drugs into Canada and Michigan.

Rob is long dead, but Doug is probably controlled completely by the Chinese. The RCMP has allowed China to operate in Canada for years. It's been awhile since I researched it, but there was a report on the RCMP site detailing China's drug operation.
