You guys are doing great. I too stopped wearing my mask when I'm out and about, especially when I'm with my 2 year old. We smile at everybody regardless of the looks we get. I will say, the majority of people don't say a word and I only had one woman at a Dunkin Donuts give me a nasty look. At the same time the woman was giving me a look, another woman stopped and said hi to my little guy (which everyone in line got a kick out of). She was still wearing her mask, but my son said Hi and waved at her.

I think about kids alot during this time, but read to her as much as possible. My son will sit through super long books at about 31 months, he actually picked two Seuss books tonight. Read read read!
