Hate to say it but I kind of feel this way too- except for culturally significant historic sites. Those should remain- like that 200 plus year old church in DC. These shitholes should not get a dime of federal money to rebuild. They're gonna realize in the coming weeks what it means to have no grocery store or pharmacy in their community. Any business that rebuilds in these areas is insane. On the other hand, there are a lot of decent people in these communities who did not participate, especially older folks. I hate this for them. These Dem mayors and police chiefs who had the police just standing by, doing nothing, the people in these communities need to vote them out. Elections have consequences, and when you blindly vote Dem year after year this is what you get. If you live in these communities and feel the police should have put a stop to the looting and made arrests, then don't vote Dem in the next election.
