When I was in college, three black males (I think they were students) followed me at a distance of about twenty feet for about a quarter mile. It was late, around 11 PM, and I was walking back to my dorm from the somewhere else on campus. The entire time they referred to me as "Petey" and said they were going to rape me. I'm a dude. It was still terrifying.

If I had a gun at that time in my life I absolutely would have pulled it.
