CSA statues belong only to neo-Confederates so the lack of anybody doing anything like counterprotesting is because there is no massive real love for the Confederacy anymore (thank God...last time I checked we live in and love the USA, not the CSA).

Deblasio a few years ago actually said he wants to tear down GRANT'S TOMB in NYC!!!

I don't see any statues of Washington or Jefferson being destroyed. In Birmingham they tried to burn a Jefferson statue but it survived unscathed and they backed off instead of continuing to destroy it.
