FYI, I don't think this is actually a UC Berkley professor. Look at how white that department is. If one of the people of color there wrote this, the other professors in the department would easily be able to identify them by their parlance. That said, it's probably a professor at some top 30 school that used Berkley as a way to ensure that they do not get caught, which is genius.
