The 16" with irons is a 7.62x39. I'm not wasting a LPVO on that inaccurate cartridge.
The 12.5 is now a 16" 5.56 with the LPVO now mounted on top. The LPVO is only shot in 1x. That means both eyes open. Wow it's fast like that.
The 12.5 insh barrel went to a Wilson combat build that has a red dot Trij MRO.
Also, a neat thing here is that barrel length doesn't effect accuracy. The myth of that comes from the iron sights days where more sight radius meant more accurate. In that situation a long barrel was more accurate. But now days with receiver mounted optics, there is no accuracy gain with a longer barrel. Just more velocity, and not much of that in a 5.56.
