Toyota introduced the FJ as a reaction to the explosion of the market for restorations (I.e. ICON) of the old FJ Series land cruisers. The FJ Cruiser while a great little truck, did fall short of some irreconcilable design flaws.

Ford is sort of doing the same of squeezing value of an old iconic brand, now that old broncos are climbing to the stratosphere

All the aftermarket stuff comes after being in the market for a few years. As far as value, that has to do with a fully depreciated vehicle and supply/demand and the fact they aren’t making them any more.

In terms of value, I suspect the Bronco will hold it value like a Raptor just in terms of its desirability.
