It was done by a private organization that was made up of veterans. 1000 people in every state were polled. 33 percent dem, 33 repubs and 33 independently. Trump won 67 to 28 percent against Hillary. That 28 percent. In my opinion has shrunk for the dems. Be darned if I can find that poll now. It was only about 6 weeks before the election
