Trump NEVER had full Republican control of the government.

Besides the fact that Paul Ryan has always been a never-Trumper traitor and that several Republicans were/are RINOs who were unwilling to help pass Trump's agenda, most bills need 60 votes to pass the Senate, and I believe there were 52 Republican senators, being that some of these Republicans were McCain, Murkowski, Collins, Sasse, and others just as traitorous as these.

Obama indeed had full control in his first two years in office. He had majority in the House, he had the 60-vote supermajority in the Senate, AND he had DemocRAT Reps and Senators who do NOT dare to dissent when their vote matters. At best, if the party can pass a bill even sparing a few votes, or if the Republicans have enough votes to confirm a Trump nominee or pass a bill that doesn't require 60 votes, then the DemocRAT party may allow a few congressmen from purple districts or states to vote with the Republicans; but DemocRATS NEVER vote with Republicans if one vote from a DemocRAT means that Republicans win.

But what big problem did Obama fix while he had a LOYAL majority and supermajority in the two chambers of congress? The only big thing he did was Obamacare, which Dems approved without even reading the bill (even loyal Republicans wouldn't have done that for Trump or any Republican president), but Obamacare gave free or subsidized health insurance to 7% of the population (many of whom already had medicaid), while it WORSENED and made health insurance almost or completely UNAFFORDABLE to everyone else but the very rich.
