Can someone tell me what the peace deal entails. I mean the Taliban aren’t exactly good people, sure they at one point controlled the government, which can’t be said for ISIS and Al-Qaeda, but what exactly was given to them?

Edit: It seems that they will pledge not to attack us... personally I think we should just grant them autonomy in the territories they already control while leaving the recognized government in control of the capital. The ultra Islamist Hicks in the mountains get there Shariah Law, and the moderate city dwellers (yes they still exist) can live free of it. But what do I know, I don’t write policy.
