Consider this case - if this woman calls 911 in the state that she is in, police are quite likely to believe her claims that he 'attacked' her, coupled with the fact that he did follow her home. For rational people it might be hard to believe that some women can get this hysterical just because someone followed up to ask what their casual 'f u' was all about. Would seem more plausible that he did something more for her to get in such a state.
