I'm a Firefox user as well, but Mozilla has been drifting pretty far left lately, I'm seeing Mozilla's name come up a lot in places I don't want to see it. So I was checking what alternatives were available, and here we are.

I have reservations about using Chromium or its derivatives as a matter of principle. Google is trying to monopolize the web.. not just the browser, but with the push for Amp pages, DRM, and other changes. They have too much control and I can't support that. See also: this
