All it took for me to win the debate of why soccer sucked was to point out that one of their recent championship matches in one of these ridiculous American leagues featured ZERO shots on goal and ended in a 0-0 tie, decided by a shootout.

So if you watched the championship game, you essentially watched a bunch of guys run around a field kicking the ball to each other for a couple of hours.

I can't remember the exact game or league because I don't give a crap about soccer, but it was fairly recent. So, I tried to look it up. A search for "soccer championship no shots on goal" shows that it's actually happened a few times. Also, none of the results included the game I referenced. It's a piece of third-world crap that America would be better off without.
