The raw numbers for my spreadsheet comes from a webpage called “the Covid tracking project” which is run by the Atlantic magazine. Those are all numbers can be found here:

That is where I got the raw death numbers from. I saved the whole page as a PDF, copied all the number from the PDF into a spreadsheet. Their number are daily and the death totals are cumulative. I added it all up to weekly numbers and did some other very basic analyses.
