I was thinking about this. They can only ride the wave of "new case spikes" for so long, if the deaths and hospitalize don't spike in two weeks then that's it. Now that they're instituting all this mask/new regulation shit I think that will be their next thing. "Look, we prevented the death of all these young ppl who weren't going to die anyway by having everyone wear dirty tissue paper on their faces, let's make this mandatory for a few more months". Which will continue to hurt businesses since people who don't want to wear masks won't spend money locally.
