That being said, if what you mentioned about the interview is true, it could be possible that the screenshot circulated around here was a fake in an attempt to reduce the number of people joining Parler. I understand their motivation of using a phone number to prevent spam, but the fact that people can't view or browse/lurk to see what is going on is a bit troublesome.
