It’s very sad that this country has devolved into Americans hating other Americans. We had that before back in 1861 but for different reasons. Now we have it again. One side loves the country and wants to keep the status quo while the other actively and unabashedly now wants to see it brought down, dissolved and re-organized into various communes. That side does not see fellow Americans, they see people of different skin colors, ethnicities, languages and expect that the time of patriotism is dead. They demand tribalization and the further fragmentation of our once great country. They hate America’s history, its “American culture,” it’s uniqueness in the cavalcade of nations that have come before. They despise freedom. The government will decide for you. They abhor western civilization because often their people had no hand in shaping it or because it has created a society that works for most but does not work for them. They detest capitalism while suckling from its teat. Giving up on this great nation as it approaches its 244th birthday makes me nauseous. Allowing the rabble to win is tantamount to dereliction of duty and that duty is shared by all who love the United States of America. The time when people will not be able to wade around in that middle ground is quickly approaching if not already here. Nationalism vs communism.
