Very much so.. they brutalized her to the max that year. That was the fuel to McCain's demise as much as the crash was. He was in good shape until the latter and her running her mouth happened. If she had been shut up besides co appearances it wouldn't have been so bad. Debate wise she wouldn't have won regardless but she coulda done better there too.

What bothered me the most about that final month for them was how they went on SNL and went along with their mocking of them.. they shoulda fought back. It made them look like fame whores and looked very weak.
