Even Richie didn't have the steel backbone his Dad had -he had a much softer personality. I know this because I met him once and we had about a 30 minute conversation at a function. But he did have a great love for the city so he did his best.

Lightfoot is just strange. I no longer live within the city limits, so nothing she does affects me. But having seen enough of her on the news -- she is downright creepy. She has the look of the "walking dead". My guess is that enough sane people moved out to the suburbs to get away from flying bullets that she had enough votes from the crazies to win.
