People equate education to not being retarded. Well, I got an engineering degree and I can say for a fact that getting a degree does not prevent you from being retarded, regardless of what the degree is.

You learn a ton of stuff on one topic. You can be brain dead in everything else and just know your stuff in that one area. Or, you can know everything about that one topic, but still have the point go over your head and form retarded opinions.

College isn’t about getting smart or learning things or whatever. It’s about proving you can handle a steady workload and can focus on meaningless shit for four years so a company can look at it and see you are a good investment to hire on. I use next to nothing I learned in college at work now. Look at how many jobs now just say “any degree” for education requirements.

Lefties talk so much shit on capitalism but fail to realize that college is the epitome of it. They say “if you have to pay to work for a company, it’s a scam” yet they don’t see that companies are requiring degrees solely “test” if you are going to be a good worker and making students obtain a lifetime of debt for it.
