If the law concerning say statues were enforced and people would be arrested for looting and whatnot all these protests would immediately collapse. There is no great revolution here, these are middle class college kids largely interested in not having to pay their student loans since they wasted their time on studying unmonetizable nonsense. There is no possibilty of a socialist revolution in the United States, the vast majority of protesters aren't even aware that they are socialists and neither is the public which thinks that these people are somehow protesting for being nice, otherwise they would face a hard 80% opposition or whatever. All this is very confusing but really we're just observing the state mass producing agents that will agitate for government growth. It's an institutional cancer that ultimately is limited by the economic realities within the US. This country is not populated by starving peasants if there is any consequence to their behavior they will grow up and fall in line.
