Here's my favorite Goya recipe that is super healthy and super quick. It literally takes 60 seconds to prepare and about three minutes to cook. Serves two people:


  • 432g can of Goya Whole Kernel Golden Corn
  • Chicken stock cube or powder to taste
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1/8 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon corn starch
  1. Remove 1/3 cup kernels and set aside.
  2. Blend remaining kernels and the liquid from the can until very smooth.
  3. Add one can of cold water and remaining ingredients and blend briefly to combine.
  4. Transfer to a microwave proof jug and add the kernels from the first step.
  5. Microwave until it thickens, stirring very often to prevent the starch from clumping at the bottom of the jug.
  6. Serve with slices of buttered bread. Decorate with a swirl of cream and fresh parsley if you're feeling fancy.
