As far as a bandana being a valid substitute, all of the mask mandates say that it is.

edit Just wondering your take on this: If this disease is so infectious that a mask is needed, why are the tests performed the way they are? You figure that they could take a mouth swap, or conduct it like any other viral test...instead of having to basically touch the blood/brain barrier.
