Engineering a virus is incredibly hard. Go look at the list of bioweapons - not a single one is an engineered virus. We literally do not have the capability to just "program" a disease. And even if you sat there painstakingly growing cultures in a dish and letting them mutate, it would take years. This virus has been growing in millions of human hosts and has barely mutated at all, how long do you think it would take to do that when only working with as much virus as can fit in a petri dish?

And if the Wuhan Institute did engineer the WuFlu... really? Really dude? They fucking did one of the most impossible things in bioscience and they made a fucking sniffles virus that is only dangerous to people that are 103 years old? Really?
