They're a quiet lot. I grew up on Syosset, Long Island where the Islanders practiced- you would see guys in town all the time. If you didn't know who they were- you wouldn't know who they were- they blended in and they were always polite.
I would see Pat LaFontaine all the time and you wouldn't have known he was an NHL all-star/Islander legend if you didn't follow hockey.
