Trump doesn't want UBI. Trump wants to give teacher salaries to the parents because they'll essentially be doing the same job and thus deserve the same pay

It may be his intention, but for myself, I would use the money provided as freedom to choose what I want to do with it, as would everyone else. I don't need the government's involvement in what I should do with the money. The more control I have with my tax payer's dollars, the better I am.

You're making the same fundamental mistake communists make; you overestimate human nature. ...

You think I care about these neets, these moochers surviving? If they are weak, they will remain poor. Only the strong will become rich, and the weak shall die off whether it is from being poor, or dying due to lack of health care. This is a concept fundamental to social darwinism, which I am a strong supporter of. Unlike what this country is heading to with affirmative action, where people are rewarded based on the color of their skin, this country should reward merit like it once used to. This can be done by scrapping the social services and returning it as money to the people via UBI.

toxic consumer culture

We do have that I'll give you that and it would probably make the situation worse. I would have to think on how to stop that problem. But I am really digging my idea on scrapping all social services and giving it to the people as a form of UBI. I know not many people agree with my views on here or on reddit, but I just want to put it out there. haha
