I'm in Orange County and literally EVERY parent I associate with here is pissed off, including my wife and I. I've talked to a couple of parents who are drinking the scared kool aid and honestly, they are pretty leftwardly so they're just following marching orders. They're just as scared now as people were in February and every last one of them is out of work and on Trump bucks. Literally, every one of the people i know who are for continued lock down are out of work and on EDD + $600/week Trump money. Orange County Board of Supervisors voted to allow individual school districts to open for fall, they even created an optional online virtual academy with full curriculum for parents to have a choice for their kids. Literally the next day Newsom forced the entire state to close for fall. People are LIVID. This is the enough to flip any state, including CA red. However, there are just way toooooooooo many retards in CA. None of my independent coworkers or friends are voting blue anymore, people are fired the fuck up here due to covid, Newsom, political correctness, cancel culture and the response to protesting/rioting. Just too many people on the government tit here and indoctrinated to flip red. People have to be willing to look at themselves in the mirror and ask, "Are we the baddies?". Independents do it easily, but lifer democrats aren't that easy. I would imagine older democrats sure, they remember when being a moderate was normal. Younger millennial democrats are simply indoctrinated at this point.
