I see what you are saying and I haven’t checked your link yet, but I can think of a few times people bully to keep others at the same level they are. Like crabs in a bucket. For example I think a black person could be proud that even tho they were bullied for “acting white” they chose to make good decisions for themselves. That’s what I was getting at by saying bullying helped me know what hills to die on. I got bullied for being fat and liking music that wasn’t top 40. So yeah, being fat isn’t good for me, but I’m proud of my curiosity for more music and art than what came on tv.
