It was a Felony stop of a suspected armed robber who just robbed a gas station down the street, he totally did. Spez: There was a robbery committed by him just 1 week prior at a gas station down the street in the other direction. He did not exit the vehicle with his hands above his head as instructed. Body cam footage exists but was never released. He was intoxicated. His GF did not turn the car off. He was told 3 times to keep his hands up before reaching for the gun. His car contained stolen property from the robbery just prior, and the one 1 week prior. He was in a residential area dodging police after the robbery when stopped, it was a 25 min drive from his home, in college neighborhood.

The jury found the officer not guilty in about 30 seconds. The officer settled with the police department for an "undisclosed sum" (suspected 16 million), and the criminal GF instead of being charged with felony murder and aiding in a robbery got a 3 million bribe to stfu.
