I don't understand how having the debate is a COVID risk.
If you only let moderators and candidates in the building, there should be enough social distancing to let this happen. If masks and/or distance actually works, then we'll be in the clear, and totally fine.
If you're THAT concerned for the health and safety of the voters, just don't let them in this time. We don't actually need an audience for this, but it's nice.
These people are so low energy, the excuses they come up with grow consistently weaker time after time, and I legitimately feel sorry for how stupid these guys are. We need MAJOR education reform, not necessarily to fight communism in our schools, that would be amazing though! We need to start teaching our children how to be wise, have intelligence again, and increase them both on their own without help from anyone.
The minute you start prepping to blow holes in these concepts, you instantly get disappointed. All because it doesn't take NEAR the amount of effort you thought it would to prove them wrong and make them look desperate and ill prepared.
I think I finally understand what Trump meant about people getting tired of winning eventually. The intelligence of our enemy is SO LOW that it isn't fun beating them anymore. It's akin to playing checkers with a 2 year old. You try and let them win, by sucking on purpose. But then you realize it doesn't matter how bad you play, you'll always win, because they're 2 and don't understand the concepts needed for an effective strategy. It's boring beating these people constantly, all while they noticeably struggle and never improve, then get more upset but won't blame themselves.
We can't be complacent, because then we will get cheated and loose for sure, but I think we are over preparing for these democrat talking points. By thinking they will be as knowledgeable and prepared as us, we show up with 'Binders full of facts', since the opponent never really knows anything about the topic being spoken on, you don't even need to turn past page 1.
