When this is all over (the Covid-19) parents should push for live streaming of all children's classes so that these teachers will never know if they are being monitored by a stay at home mom or a working mom on break.
If they are talking like this amongst themselves on a public board what do they say privately?
It doesn't pay to ask your kids. When my daughter was younger, she was bullied by the other children because her older brother had autism. I was always demanding the school take care of the problem and I believed I had a handle on it because she would tell me things.
It wasn't until she was in her mid twenties that she casually mentioned that she never told me half of what went on because she knew I'd go to the school and raise a stink. And whenever that happened -- they would wait until I left and the principal would give her a lecture about how she had to suck it up because "popular kids get to do whatever they want." I was flabbergasted.
So no matter how much you think your kids tell you everything -- they often don't.
