I don't think so. Attorney general, maybe. The establishment wanted Warren. Clinton herself even advised Warren's team. Then she shot herself in the foot with Medicare for all, scaring off all the rich megadonors, and the DNA test thing prior to that also never really went away, especially with Trump always calling her Pocahontas.

From an election-winning standpoint, I still think she would have been Biden's best VP choice (aside from Sanders which the DNC would never allow), but identity politics are too integral for the left now. They wanted that sweet Jamaican-Indian blend to try to sell her as black to those they consider inferior.
